Technology

BCI is licenced to manufacture sacrificial stay-in-place formwork by Permaform. This construction technology has the following features:

Picture 1

  • Formwork based on recycled, environmentally friendly materials.
  • It uses less steel, less cement, less water and no sand.
  • Recycled plastic components from the outer shell of the stay-in-place formwork are filled with steel-reinforced concrete.
  • Enables rapid construction of buildings up to 60 storeys.
  • Fire-, smoke- and earthquake-proof, thermally insulated material that stands no corrosion.
  • It takes approximately four months to complete BCI typical 46-unit building in any quantity required.

International Certifications:

  • ISO:9001 Quality Management System.
  • ISO:14001 Best practice Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • ISO:45001 OH&S Standard in preventing injury and ill-health.

Tests completed in Australia:

  • Determination of fire hazard properties, wall and ceiling lining.
  • Fire propagation testing and classification of external walls of buildings.
  • Simultaneous determination of ignitability, flame propagation, heat and smoke.
  • Green Building Code of Australia Green Star Office Design.
  • Thermal insulation materials for buildings.
